"San Jose State College should have a stadium," reported the San Jose College Times on Oct. 14, 1932. I've decided that I'm going to start issuing an "Idiot of the Month Award."

This month's winners are Brian Tirao Deguzman, Allen Tam Vu and Armando Anaya Mendez, who were inspired by sources no less ridiculous than the "Ocean's Eleven" movie to rob a Wells Fargo bank in San Jose.

Good cop-bad cop never seemed so apparent.

The city of San Jose and SJSU deploy a wealth of police officers every day, and I'll confess that knowledge can sometimes offer comfort.

But for that good cop, the one who protects, who serves fairly and who assures safety for citizens in his or her community, there's definitely a bad cop to match them.

The James Bond series has entered a new phase of their evolution. "Quantum of Solace" drives us away from long ago, campy Sean Connery Bonds and Smarmy, product-placing Pierce Brosnan Bonds to a new Bond. A better Bond.

This new Bond, played by long time supporting actor Daniel Craig, is much more of a soldier than his more gentlemanly predecessors.

How much do I love Rahm Emanuel?

My love for Rep. Rahm Emanuel is as great as the probability of him stealing my lunch money and killing all my loved ones for no reason other than needing to blow off some steam. Or maybe one of his daughters was bored. My love for Rahm Emanuel is vast.
